In the last game I started, Sarleon decided to gather the biggest most badass army I ever saw, and just roll over the Empire. Its also on of the games that has the most self-evolving (I forgot the game word for it) sandbox world I ever saw - The AI plays by pretty much the same rules as everyone else in general, leading to all sorts of things that can happen.
